From the Medical Bay functions you can unlock the Morgue door and and door to the Medical Storage Room. In the Patient Treatment records you may be able to track who gave the last treatment to the people in the Kolto tanks causing them all to die except for you. It can be a handy way to get rid of useless items and turn them into things you may need. There’s a Lab Station here that you can use to learn about creating and breaking down items. The Morgue and the corridor to the south are blocked so you’ll need to start by investigating the Medical Bay at #2.ġ) Medical Bay – The Kolto tanks in the med bay will heal your wounds although there probably won’t be much need as your wounds will heal over time anyway. The Peragus facility largely consists of droids so bear that in mind when equipping and levelling up your character. You wake up on the Peragus II in the Medical Bay of the Administration Level.

To use the MIDI capabilities of your keyboard, you’ll need to connect it to a computer. Of course, if you're planning to do a lot of recording from home, you should probably upgrade your hard drive and even have an external drive or two on hand. If you're worried about hard drive space, that's nice to know. The file size of a MIDI track is also much, much smaller than real audio files. Editing is easy (you can literally drag notes around). You can change the sound of the instrument with ease. MIDI id popular because it’s extremely malleable. The software is housed in a program like GarageBand, Ableton, Xpand, etc. This means it controls the MIDI instrument, which in this case is a piece of software. A MIDI keyboard is often a MIDI controller. When we talk about instruments, we’re not always talking about hardware. These messages are interpreted by a MIDI “instrument” to create sound. Rather, it’s a series of electronic messages like, “note on, note off, pitch bend, modulation increase,” and so on. It was developed in the 1980s to allow digital instruments to communicate. MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. It’s worth taking a moment to understand what “MIDI” is. The Clear Sky story doesn't really ever come up in Call of Pripyat except for a couple "Hey, did you hear what happened to those guys?" moments. That said, Shadow of Chernobyl is the classic Stalker experience and one shouldn't pass it up. Clear Sky I found very boring story wise, the faction warfare system is really annoying (and didn't make it to Call of Pripyat), and because it's all the same locations as Shadow of Chernobyl, I'd just rather play that game. Call of Pripyat is my favorite of the games, it has the best quality of life features, plays much smoother, and the three large open maps as opposed to the several small levels throughout Shadow of Chernobyl are much better to play through. That said, Shadow of Chernobyl is the *classic* Stalker experience and one shouldn't pass it up. Play Shadow of Chernobyl with Zone Reclamation Project (really easy to download and install) and then move on to Call of Pripyat.Ĭall of Pripyat is my favorite of the games, it has the best quality of life features, plays much smoother, and the three large open maps as opposed to the several small levels throughout Shadow of Chernobyl are much better to play through. Skip Clear Sky (It's a prequal to Shadow of Chernobyl, but runs through all the same areas as SoC and experimented with some new features that made it to Call of Pripyat, like the upgrade system and repairing gear). Once in System settings, you’ll automatically be on Display setting that you’ll see listed in the left tabbed column. To enter Settings, open the Start menu and then select the settings icon towards the bottom-left. To access Night Light proceed to Settings -> System -> Display -> Night Light Settings. Today we look at how to enable it, configure it to your liking and ultimately how it performs compared to incumbent solutions like the popular f.lux app.īefore configuring Night Light we recommend you first remove or disable other blue light filtering software that may be present on your system. We are thrilled with Night Light, Microsoft’s blue light reduction feature built into the Windows 10 ‘Creators Update’ rolling out to computers on April 11, 2017. |
